In July, there was a gap of 2 weeks where we purposely kept it free with no wedding. You see, we began July with a 4-days long of Indian wedding bash, lots of colours, celebrations and also the hectic days/weeks prior to the wedding day itself – so to a small but mighty team like us, it was a loud bang. We figured at the end of it, we need to breath the fresh air before things get excitingly busy again.
So now, it’s 31st of July and can’t believe that time passed just like that. It was nice for me and the team to take a break and coming after the break we all felt refreshed yet anxious. Soon, we spot ourselves in a round table at our office, discussing the next plans while browsing pages of moodboards for the upcoming wedding. Then Bobby and Vennesia’s wedding started to approach….
Dusty blue colour totally hit the award for the most-wanted hues, but the challenge is always getting the right spectrum of blue. We were glad when our decisions to have as little as blue possible for the flowers but letting ourselves loose on dusty fabric turned this wedding magical in sight.
Phalosa Villa is a wide-spaced wedding venue and when it is empty like that, it makes a blank canvas easy to paint. First we started with hanging vertical drapes at the entrance of the villa, and boy it created a perfect spot for photo taking. It was charming without being too much. We infused a little bit of pampas grass into the Bridal Table and the guest arrangement, as well as being generous in greens to give the space have a garden intimate outdoor feeling. We had to be careful in putting the right colours as we still want the dusty blue to win.
Donny (Axioo) was the principal photographer on that day. He captured the beautiful images on-point. The colour, the mood, the smiles, the angles, his photographs are always a total treasure to keep. We hope you enjoy browsing these photos as much as we loved working with the vendors on this wedding day.
We might begin the month with a bang but we certainly was glad that we ended the month with a deep gratitude and on a high.
