[The Ungasan] A Chic Wedding with Classic Touches
The 2020 world pandemic may weaken the body, but definitely not the spirit. With many people staying at home, it’s uncommon for couples to really face the adversity, the truth and finally decided to go apart. However, not with Amy and Matthew. Originating from Hongkong, they had to experience border close off far longer than average countries did. So although they were supposed to get married in June 2020, they had to delay their traveling and wedding until May 2023. Luckily, they went ahead with the civil registration but without putting your white wedding gown it doesn’t feel like “it”, isn’t it?
With the help of Vara Wedding team, we re-planned. We first made the moodboard in 2019 and with so much trends going in and out, they deserved a brand new brain for a 2023 wedding. So we made that happened, by getting rid quite a number of things and bringing in cool stuff. The pink colour was their first choice so we kept that but we added in the wooden table furniture and the shot glasses shelf for everyone to take. No party is fun with just water, isn’t it?
