All brides are beautiful and they look magical, but when the bride-to-be/ model is the Australian Jazz Singer Eva Scolaro and her soon-to-be hub, Brendan Georgy, all eyes were on them.
All the vendors and talents that are working on this styled shoot were matchmade by past clients, and we sort of become like good buddies. Just like how I know Shenny of LunaPomPom, who happened to be the sister of our previous client . Turns out, Shenny was not only a sister, she owns a bridal gown store that carries a wide collection of American Designer’s gown like Watters , Marchesa, and et cetera. It was quite an effort to bring the lace gown all the way from Singapore to Bali, but the effort was worth it when the cut fits perfectly on every curves of Eva’s, altogether creating a vintage flair.
When Rumah Luwih opened for the first time almost a year ago, it became the talk of the town. It is the serene beach resort combines with the colonial feel that urge us to create something beautiful there. Of course with our busy schedule, we would all be mañana and mañana, and finally we had a common date to head out to the southeastern coast of Bali. What made the highlight of this plan was when Eva Scolaro decided to volunteer herself to be the face of this photoshoot.
Kira of Hitch’d Wedding contributed to this shoot in a tremendous way. She really put a lot of thought and effort to create a look that is a garden vintage. To her, it was important that we picked the hues that define elegance and fantasy and we twisted it with a garden affair. We picked dark furniture and flowers that fit into the purpose of creating a mystical outdoor dining-hall look. Everything here was dark and vintage like gold stands, maroon-pigmented blooms and old-fashioned flower arrangement lined up on the dining table. Of course, all of these would be made possible with the help of Clink n Toast who provided the vintage dinnerware for this shoot.
The team at Evermotion Photo created a wonderful snapshots that delivers the romantic ambience of the night. Eva and Brendan was a real couple in life, so all the chemistry and the way they looked at each other was natural and easy. They were patient enough to wait til the rain stops and the cloud came and all weather drama before the photoshoot begins.
They began by taking photos of the bride getting ready, and followed by small details . Including the naked cake makes everyone secretly want to dip their finger in and steal that yum. Of course we also put some dainty floral decorations on that cake tier to make it stylish.
