This is the first wedding after a long Covid-19 hiatus, and thanks to Aluna and Chris for giving us the opportunity to be chasing deadline again under the sun. The first few weeks of the quarantine was kinda like a break we were looking forward but after some time later, we just hoped that the situation would come back to normal ASAP.
This is truly a wedding we would never forget. After 2 quick trips to Yogyakarta, we bonded with the bride pretty well. She is nice, down to heart, beautiful, and an all-in-one package you would look for a wife. She picked white on white wedding, except for her bouquet because sunflower would always be her signature flower whenever things are cloudy.
We traveled by road, and flowers too were shipped at the back of our van. The latter one was for the obvious reason: we didn’t trust the flight transport system and it would be alarming if our flower supplies came in late due to flight reschedule or cancellation. So let’s not risk it.
The dinner took place in the South Garden, amongst huge banyan trees, so we created a bridal table canopy that is inspired by the surrounding. We then hang some chandeliers and acrylic tassels to add up the glam to it.
Thank you for the whole gang that helped to create this magic in the land so far away from home.
