There was one time when I felt that I wanted to escape the island, works, people and all the humdrum of life. I thought where all my friends are now living and Belgium (and several other countries in the Western Europe) was one of the destinations. I’ll pick countryside over city, I’ll pick anything that whispers “slow down, life is meant to be enjoyed”; laid-back villages and lots of outdoor parks where I can see myself drinking beers and unwinding after scenic walk. Mona, my beautiful bride who got married last March, had been a visitor to Belgium when Thijs, her husband, brought her around to see his bigger family . It’s important to ask a tourist’ point of view who was brought along by a local. Being a tourist, I have to embrace my tourist life but also want to know how the locals go about their life. I am that greedy, I want to see the popular things people talked about (you haven’t been to Paris if you never take any picture in front of the giant Eiffel Tower, no?) and I want to see how life was all about there.
One thing happened, and the other things happened and I decided to give Belgium another try at another time. Sad, but well… something better came along, anyway.
I met Mona and Thijs approximately 8 months in advance of their wedding when they came to Bali to see me and meet with a couple of wedding vendors. Mona and Thijs are such a sweetie with a great manner. They are both coming from creative industries of building stores, so they truly believe in good quality equals to good product equals to beautiful things ! That sounds like what Flora Botanica Designs have been advocating and to meet a bride and groom who are as crazy as us in having a fresh, unique visual makes them my fan.
Picked Arnalaya Beach House. Modern interior with natural wood finishing sounds very chic. They couldn’t go wrong with the colours they picked ; Natural hues and elements with generous portion of gold and lush eucalyptus green and drops of crystals and chandeliers above the Bridal table. It’s mix and mixture of everything and styled together. Look great, aren’t they?
Thank you for Axioo for sharing with us the photos.
